The members of R.O.I. actually had a couple days off from school for the parent teacher conferences. It was a real pleasure for R.O.I. to have on our show Janet Weaver, an assistant curator at the Iowa Women’s Archives, University of Iowa Libraries and the author of the article that was published in this issue of the vol 68, No. 3 Summer 2009 of the  Annals of Iowa, titled “From Barrio to “¡Boicoteo!”: The Emergence of Mexican American Activism in Davenport, 1917–1970.
